The program gives priority to students in the School of Social Ecology, but all UCI undergraduates are welcome to apply. For additional information contact:

Movement Exchange at UCI
Movement Exchange at UCI is a branch of the international non-profit organization, Movement Exchange. Movement Exchange unites dance and service through its network of university chapters, international dance exchanges, and year-round programs in underserved communities. Our chapter uses dance as our tool for civic engagement in the Orange County area and abroad. Each year we take students of all disciplines on a weeklong exchange in Panama city where we engage with the community through dance by teaching and taking classes as well as learning about the history of the nation. We encourage all to apply; no dance experience is necessary!.

Olive Tree Initiative:  Israel & Palestine; Armenia & Turkey
The mission of the Olive Tree Initiative is to promote conflict analysis and resolution through experiential education by providing students and community with the education, training and experiences needed to better negotiate and solve conflicts. We run yearly experiential learning trips to Turkey-Armenia (June) and the Middle East (Israel, West Bank, Jordan - September).  Contact:
