Reciprocity Students

Information for Mentees

The Study Abroad Center's EAP Exchange Partners Program is offered to all EAP Reciprocity students who will be coming to study at UCI.

The program is designed to assist EAP Reciprocity students to adjust to life at UCI as quickly and smoothly as possible. Participating in the program will give you the chance to meet and become friends with a UCI student and to learn more about what to expect during your time here.

How does the program work?

  • Attend our meeting/social event (date and time TBA). This is where you will have the chance to meet and mingle with UCI students who have recently returned from studying abroad, and who want to be your Exchange Partner! If you are unable to attend this meeting but are interested in the program, please contact Megan ( to see if it is still possible to be matched.
  • Once you have found a partner, you will both agree where, when and how often you want to meet and your level of involvement with one another. Generally, your Exchange Partner will share their insights and experiences at UCI, explain how things work on campus and be available to answer any questions you may have.

Thank you for your interest in the program and please feel free to contact the Study Abroad Center if you have any questions at:
